Lowe’s Introduces Smart Home Shops

With today’s smart home technology moving ahead at an explosive rate, it’s hard for the average consumer to keep up with what’s new. And, then, there’s the challenge of how to interconnect and use their  smart home gadgets after they buy them.

Lowe’s USA has 1736 locations.

Smart Home shops–known as “store-within-a-store”–powered by B8ta, are Lowe’s answer to the consumer questions: what’s new in home technology; which products should I buy; will they work with my other smart home devices; and, how do I use them?

Lowe’s new Smart Home shops will feature a variety of 60 smart home products that consumers will be able to learn about before making their purchase. Product experts will be on hand to help customers understand and select the products that would best suit their smart home needs. The list of products in the Smart Home shops  will include thermostats, cameras, lighting, speakers and more from brands like Google, Sonos, GE, Nest, Iris, Samsung and Ring.

Smart Home powered by B8ta is available in select major U.S. markets, including New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Dallas, Philadelphia, Boston, Miami, Tampa, Raleigh, Charlotte and Washington, D.C.

Get ready for Black Friday!

In addition to the 70 store-within-a-store format shops, 1,000 Lowe’s locations rolled out specialized smart home displays featuring products primed for Black Friday shopping and the holiday gifting season.

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is a Fortune 500 American company that operates a chain of retail home improvement and appliance stores in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
