Home Hardware has ranked first for best in-store shopping experience under the Hardware category for retailing, according to a December 2017 study compiled by Leger, which surveyed 20,000 Ontario residents. Home Hardware ranked first with the top index of 73.1, with the lowest scoring competitive index at 52.

In celebration of National Tree Day, Home Hardware Stores Limited and Tree Canada (a not-for-profit organization) worked together this fall at 16 locations across Canada to plant and look after mature trees.
